Veneration of Relics
On Sunday, November 2 from Noon to 2pm, The Lord’s Vineyard’s Spirituality Pillar hosted a special opportunity to venerate many sacred relics gathered from our family of parishes at St. Hyacinth Church. A relic is a physical connection to the saints that reminds us of God’s work through these holy men and women, inspiring us to grow in holiness. Information was provided about each saint represented. There was time for personal prayer and reflection as relics are reverently viewed.

Our annual Halloween party was held on Saturday, Oct. 25 at the TLV center at the St. Hyacinth's gym. Families enjoyed trick or treating and lots of fun activities, crafts, and games. Thank you to all of the families who attended and especially an enormous thank you to the volunteers who helped make it a success!
We look forward to our next event: our annual St. Nicholas party which will also be held in the St. Hyacinth's gym starting at 12:15 on Sunday, December 7. All families are welcome! We will have crafts, lunch and a special visit from St. Nicholas!!! Families are asked to bring a donation of non-perishable food to give to the needy. We are also looking for people to donate desserts and finger foods. For more information, please contact the Central Office.

Father Dan Fiebelkorn blessed the grapes grown by parishioners of The Lord’s Vineyard at Saturday’s vigil Mass at Our Lady of Mount Carmel church in Silver Creek. A blessing of gratitude for the harvest and a prayer for the safety of the growers and all those in the industry was given by Father Dan, who first read the names of those in the grape community who passed away in the last year. They included Erwin Cross, Sydney Farnham, Myrton Sprague, Barbara and Albert VanDette Jr., Henry Rohman, Antonio Rivera, Alfred Jopek, Terry Morse, Ronald Salzman, Kenneth Cross, Howard Ferry, Mary Privitera, Guido Monacelli, Russell Andolina, Timothy Powell, and Martha Bahl.

From August 4–8, The Lord's Vineyard Center for Catholic Faith and Formation, (formerly St. Hyacinth’s school) was filled with energy, laughter, and faith as The Lord’s Vineyard hosted True North Bible Camp. This special week welcomed 24 campers, who dove into fun and meaningful activities designed to help them learn how they can trust Jesus in their everyday lives. With the help of 30 incredible volunteers, including 12 junior leaders, the camp ran smoothly and joyfully. The junior leaders were especially valuable—not only were they a huge help with daily activities, but they also truly engaged with the campers and had a great time themselves. Each day was packed with songs, games, crafts, and skits that brought the Bible lessons to life in a fun and memorable way. The campers laughed, learned, and built friendships, while deepening their understanding of faith and trust in Jesus. It was a joyful and spirit-filled week that left a lasting impression on everyone involved. A heartfelt thank you to all the amazing volunteers who made True North Bible Camp such a wonderful success! Your time, energy, and joyful spirit helped create a welcoming, memorable, and faith-filled environment for our campers.

Easter 2025

This evening after weeks of deliberation, the bishop has made the decision on the mergers of the parishes.
The original proposal was to keep only Holy Trinity and Mount Carmel open. After hearing and taking into consideration all the proposals from the people of our family, the trustees and clergy went to the bargaining table with the Bishop and tried to come up with a proposal that would help the whole family.
The bishop and his committee after our proposal and through much deliberation has decided the following:

This past week the leadership team of our family of parishes, which includes: trustees and clergy, met to discuss the best ways to hear everyone's thoughts on the diocesan suggestions moving forward for our family. In order that everyone can have their voices heard, we have decided that on Tuesday, July 2nd from 5:30pm-6:30pm we will be taking your input.

In order to make this process efficient, we are asking that you come with your ideas in writing so that it cannot be misinterpreted. We know that there is a lot of emotion with the proposed plan; therefore, we ask that all proposals be supportive for betterment of the family moving forward.

The parish trustees will be taking proposals with their parishioners at the following locations.
St. Joseph - Due to the bingo crowd we will meet at the church basement of St. Anthony
St. Anthony - Meet in Church
Holy Trinity - In the pavilion weather permitting, if not meet in the central office
St. Elizabeth Ann Seton - Meet in Church
Blessed Mary Angela - Meet in the Lyceum
Our Lady of Mt. Carmel - Meet in St. Rose hall

We know that we need the Holy Spirit to guide our recommendation, so during this process, we will be having Eucharistic Adoration and Benediction with worship music from 5:30pm - 7:30pm at Holy Trinity. This will be a time of prayer and quiet reflection. All are welcome.
